Captain of RGVFC during their debut season in USL, Garcia is a player comfortable in more than one position along the defensive line. He provided reliable depth at center back and left back for the Dynamo in 2018 with career highs in games started (11) and scored his first MLS goal in the penultimate game of the regular season.
OUTSIDE MLS: Was captain of Rio Grande Valley FC this year, their debut season in the USL. The Flushing, New York native appeared in 25 games for RGV FC, helping guide the expansion club to a league-record 760-minute shutout streak. He signed with Swedish club IFK Luleå in 2013 and made 30 appearances in two seasons
COLLEGE: Garcia was a four-year starter at Villanova University.
