Alejandro Guido

Guido is a former US youth international central midfielder who is technical on the ball and can play defense-splitting passes. He looks to re-start his career with LAFC after suffering multiple injuries at Club Tijuana.

INTERNATIONAL: Guido has represented the U.S. at the U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 levels, scoring four goals in over 50 games played, including four appearances at the 2011 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. Guido earned his first senior team call-up during the USMNT’s camp in Philadelphia in May 2018.

OUTSIDE MLS: Guido joined LAFC after spending the first seven years of his professional career with Mexican side Club Tijuana. In 2018, Guido helped Xolos reach the playoffs after appearing in 11 league contests. In all, Guido tallied two goals in 56 appearances across all competitions for Tijuana.
