The USMNT's new generation continues to meet the challenge as the 2030 World Cup cycle begins.

Case in point: Philadelphia Union midfielder Cavan Sullivan and Red Bull New York forward Julian Hall scored in Saturday's 3-0 victory over arch-rivals Mexico.

Sullivan became the youngest-ever goalscorer in USMNT history (17 years, five days), and Hall scored for the third consecutive match after tallying in a 4-1 win vs. Peru and a 4-2 triumph past Chile.

Sullivan and Hall are two of 13 MLS call-ups under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who has repeatedly praised the youngsters' readiness for the senior squad.

Fresh off a historic run to the Round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup, Canada have continued their forward momentum this window.

Les Rouges began with a 1-0 win over Chile, courtesy of an early goal from all-time leading goalscorer and Atlético Madrid forward Jonathan David.

Then it was LAFC winger Jacob Shaffelburg's turn to lead the way, netting a brace in a 2-0 victory vs. Peru last weekend.

Head coach Jesse Marsch called up 10 MLS players for this camp, balancing World Cup veterans (i.e., Toronto FC defender Richie Laryea) with relative newcomers (i.e., Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Ralph Priso).
