After rallying late to secure a season-opening draw, the San Jose Earthquakes seek their first win of the 2020 season against a Minnesota United side trying to make it two road wins in a row when the Western Conference foes square off Saturday in San Jose.

The Quakes fell into a two-goal hole, but earned a 2-2 draw with Toronto FC Saturday thanks to a stunning equalizer by Oswaldo Alanis in second-half stoppage time. Andres Rios pulled San Jose back a goal two minutes after Richie Laryea gave Toronto a 2-0 lead.

Minnesota United put on a counterattacking clinic to defeat the Portland Timbers, 3-1, at Providence Park Sunday night. The goals came in bunches with Kevin Molino opening his account in the 51st minute, only to have Diego Valeri level from the penalty spot five minutes later. Luis Amarilla scored on his MLS debut and Molino followed with his second two minutes later to put the game away for the Loons.
