We now know the men in the middle for this weekend's Conference Championship first legs.
The Professional Referee Organization announced on Monday the officiating crews for Sunday's matches between the New York Red Bulls and New England Revolution (1:30 pm ET, NBC), and LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders (5 pm ET, ESPN, ESPN Deportes).
Allen Chapman will be in charge of his second game of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T, when he presides over the Red Bulls' home leg against the Revolution. Chapman previously officiated the first leg of the Seattle-Dallas Western Conference Semifinals series.
Kevin Stott will handle the first leg of the Galaxy-Sounders series; he has yet to oversee a playoff match this year.
