Orlando City SC announced on Thursday that their Fuerza Puerto Rico benefit friendly, held on November 4 between the Lions and the Puerto Rico national team, raised a total of $327,530.

One-hundred percent of the net proceeds from the friendly, which ended in a 6-1 win for the hosts, will be donated to the United for Puerto Rico fund to help the island recover from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria this fall.

A total of 8,231 fans attended the match, with proceeds from ticket sales, concessions and merchandise sales that night going to the total to be donated.

“I’m very proud of what our Club and our partners were able to accomplish,” Orlando City SC owner Flavio Augusto da Silva said in a team statement. “What we did meant more than just raising funds for Puerto Rico. Once again, we came together as a community to rally behind something bigger than us all.”
