TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Re-signed
Minnesota United have signed midfielder Jacori Hayes, defenders Brent Kallman and Callum Montgomery, and goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas to new contracts, the club announced Tuesday.
Hayes, 25, spent the first three seasons of his MLS career with FC Dallas before joining Minnesota via a trade last winter. He made 11 appearances with the Loons and has appeared in a total of 49 MLS matches.
Kallman, 30, is a Minnesota native who has spent his entire career with Minnesota, dating back to their NASL days. He inked his first MLS contract ahead of their expansion season in 2017 and has made 67 MLS appearances. He is a central defender.
Montgomery, 23, was also acquired in a trade with Dallas. He was added this winter after Dallas opted to decline his 2021 contract option. He was selected No. 4 overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
Zendejas, 25, is on his third MLS team. He broke through with Sporting KC and made his lone career MLS appearance with the club, spent some of 2020 with Nashville SC before arriving in Minnesota.
