NEW YORK
(October 9, 2020) – Major League Soccer today provided an update on the results of COVID-19 testing for players, coaches, and staff throughout the league from Oct. 1-8.
MLS will be providing regular updates with aggregated COVID-19 testing results throughout the season.

- The number of samples collected and tested was 5,965 from 1,457 individuals between Oct. 1-8.
- There were three new confirmed positive cases among players and five new positive cases among staff members.
