Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez's complete travel itinerary for the 2020 MLS season

Javier Hernandez - Bayer Leverkusen - celebrates

As anxious as LA Galaxy fans surely are to see Javier ā€œChicharitoā€ Hernandez make his debut at Dignity Health Sporks Park, the same is true for fans in other MLS cities waiting to catch the Mexican superstar in person.

Many locales wonā€™t have to wait long, with the Mexican superstar set to play at 17 different opposing venues throughout the regular season. As part of their 34-game schedule, and with 26 clubs competing this year, the three teams LA wonā€™t face are as such: Columbus Crew SC, Montreal Impact and New England Revolution.

While you can cross that trio off the list, hereā€™s a month-by-month look at where you can catch Chicharito potentially doing what he does best: scoring goals.

February

The Galaxy open their 2020 campaign on the road, which means theyā€™ll travel to the Houston DynamoFeb. 29. That date should mark Chicharitoā€™s official MLS debut, as well as Tab Ramosā€™ first match as Dynamo head coach.

March

With two of their three March games at home, LA only hits the road for a March 14 clash against MLS newcomers Inter Miami CF. Itā€™ll be the expansion clubā€™s first home match in their temporary Fort Lauderdale venue.

April

The Galaxy play three of five on the road in April, those games coming in a consecutive stretch in the middle of the month. Theyā€™ll start at Minnesota United on April 11, then head east to the Philadelphia Union on April 15, before wrapping matters up north of the border April 18 at Toronto FC

May

The Galaxy play seven times during a busy May, with a pair of back-to-back road stretches on the docket. On the first, they head to the Portland Timbers on May 2 before a quick turnaround at the Colorado Rapids on May 6. The major highlight is May 16ā€™s El Trafico at Banc of California Stadium against LAFC, followed by a May 23 visit to Real Salt Lake.

June

A 10-day stretch will see LA travel to Sporting Kansas City for a midweek game June 17, before returning to Dignity Health Sporks Park that Sunday. The following weekend, LA will travel to the San Jose Earthquakes on June 27 for a California Clasico match at Stanford Stadium.

July

The dog days of summer include two road matches and potential Western Conference six-pointers for LA, including a July 11 trip to face FC Dallas and a July 25 one against Vancouver Whitecaps FC

August

As the Audi MLS Cup Playoff picture comes into view, Chicharito and the Galaxy will face a pair of Eastern Conference foes. First up are Chicago Fire FC at Soldier Field on Aug. 9, and then thereā€™s Chicharito MLS debut in the Big Apple on Aug. 30 at New York City FC

September

When September rolls around, LA will either be looking to clinch a playoff seed or squeeze into the postseason. Whatever their destiny is, a marquee matchup awaits Sept. 13 at the Seattle Sounders. Their penultimate match arrives Sept. 26 at Nashville SC, the league's other expansion club in 2020.
