Jair Marrufo has been assigned as the center referee for the 2014 AT&T MLS All-Star game on Wednesday, August 6 in Portland, Oregon, the Professional Referees' Organization (PRO) announced on its website Tuesday.
The 37-year-old will be supported at Providence Park by assistant referees Claudio Badea and Corey Parker, with Ismail Elfath chosen as the 4th official.
The crew will be in charge for the 19th All-Star game, which will feature a selection of MLS players against German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Marrufo has been a referee in MLS since 2002 and won MLS Referee of the Year in 2008. He has overseen the MLS Cup once and officiated at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
